Swinton In Semi-Final

Swinton meet Batley in the league semi-final at Batley to-day (Saturday). At home they beat Denaby by eight wickets on Saturday.

The visitors made 59, E. Cadman taking 6 wickets for 19 runs, and L. Ellison 3 for 23. Barnett opened the Swinton innings with B. Broadhead, but when he had scored 14 retired hurt, being struck on the elbow by the ball. His partner went for 22, and the innings closed at 61 without further loss.
