At Barnsley on Friday, Wilfred Perks, miner, of Great Houghton, was fined 10s. and costs, for driving a motor cycle without a rear red light at Hazlehead.

Hannah Owens, of Highgate, was summoned at Doncaster on Saturday by her daughter-in-law, Nellie Owens, for assault. Both parties were bound over.

Four Goldthorpe men, James Lee, Clifford Bellamy, Bernard Woodward, and Gary Wray were fined 5s. each at Doncaster on Saturday for playing football on the highway.

Walter Cockeredge, ice cream vendor, of Denaby, was fined 5s. at Doncaster on Saturday for blowing a whistle on a Sunday in annoyance at Edlington on June 22nd.

For failing to conform to a traffic signal at High Street, Mexboro’, Harry Rotherham, mason, Hooton Roberts, was fined 10s. at Doncaster on Saturday.

A fine of 10s. was imposed at Doncaster on Saturday on Sarah Kilner, married, Goldthorpe, for assaulting Gladys Warboys, Goldthorpe.

Jack Davis, Conisboro’, was fined 6s. at Doncaster on Saturday for riding a cycle without a front light.

For failing to conform to a traffic sign at Lamphouse Hill, Conisboro’, Harry Walker, miner, Woodlands, and a son, Fred Walker, were each fined 10s. at Doncaster on Saturday, while another son, aged 14, was fined 5s.

For having ridden bicycles without lights John Corbett, surface worker, of Great Houghton, and Wm. Hesketh, miner, Hemsworth, were at Pontefract on Saturday fined 5s. each, and David Finn, shop assistant, Fitzwilliam, was fined 4s.

Herbert Meredith, miner, Thurnscoe, was ordered to pay costs at Barnsley on Wednesday for driving a motor-cycle the rear plates of which were not illuminated, at Celsey.

William Riley, miner, Brampton Bierlow, who was fined 5s. at Barnsley on Monday for depositing glass on the highway, was stated to have thrown a beer bottle into the road. He denied that he threw the bottle.
