Fines for Failing to Display Prices

Messrs. Henry Cough, Ltd., were summoned for having neglected to display a notice showing the price of bacon in their Swinton shop, and Mildred Draper, the manageress, was proceeded against for aiding and abetting.

Messrs. Gough were fined 40s. and the manageress was ordered to pay costs.

For failing to display a cheese price notice at the Swinton shop of Messrs. Daniel Melia and Co.. Ltd., Elsie Trickett, the manageress. was fined 10s. The firm were ordered to pay 40s.

Hunter’s, Ltd., were summoned on three charges of failing to display a notice of the price of bacon, and also for infringement of the Coffee Price Other.
