Bank Appointment

Mr. W. Newcombe, who spent most of his banking life in Sheffield before moving to Rotherham, is to succeed Mr. G. C. Wright as Manager of Swinton branch of the National Provincial Bank.

Mr. Newcombe is a native of Newcastle-on-Tyne and was educated at Whitley Bay High School, moving to Sheffield in 1926.

He is at present accountant at the Rotherham branch and takes over his new post on July 31^st.
