Wren’s Romance

When Air mechanic, Deneice Wild (20), daughter of Mr and Mrs TH Wild, 42 Manor Road, Swinton, was sent to Machriharris Fleet Air Station in Scotland, she serviced aircraft as she had been trained to do in the W.R.E.N.S.

It was while she was doing this work that she met Lt Vincent R. Munozramos, pilot of one of the aircraft, and now on demobilisation leave, she has announced their engagement.

Lt Munozramos’ father was a Spanish businessman, who had business interests in London but now he’s dead, and Lt Munozramos now resides with his English mother at Rockferry in Cheshire.

An old student of London High School, Deneice joined the W.R.E.N.S. in May 1944 on leaving school.
