White & Yates
The wedding of Miss Winifred Margaret Yates, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Yates, Swinton, and Mr. John White, second son of Mrs. and the late Mr. White, Wath Road, Swinton, took place at Swinton Parish Church last Thursday, the Rev. W. H. Bedford officiating.
The bride was given away by her father, and wore ivory georgette, and carried cream and red tea roses. She was attended by Misses K. Booker and J. Mosley, who wore floral georgette; Misses D. Haigh and G. Blackwell, in glean floral crepe de chine; and Miss M. Oldfield, in pink crepe. The maids carried carnations and sweet peas.
The best man was Mr. G. White, and the groomsman Mr. S. Yates.
