Pocklington-Taylor

The wedding of Miss Eva Taylor, daughter of Mr. H. Taylor, Bridge Street, Swinton, and Mr. Arthur Pocklington, son of Mr. T. Pocklington, Station Road, Swinton, took place at St. Margaret’s Church, Swinton, on Monday the Rev, R. W. L. Bedford officiating.

The bride was given away by her uncle and wore a powder blue georgette and carried red roses and white heather.

She was attended by Misses Constant Taylor and Mabel Pocklington, who wore green georgette and carried carnations.

The best man was Mr Leslie G Lowe, and the groomsman Mr Wilfred Taylor.
