Mr. O. Marks (Swinton) and Miss A. Stanworth (Swinton)
Miss Amy Stanworth, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Stanworth, 2, King Street, Swinton, was married at Swinton Parish Church on Saturday to Mr. George Marks, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Marks. 27, Talbot Road Swinton.
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of parchment coloured taffeta with a veil and wreath and carried pink carnations. The bridesmaid, Miss Mabel Marks, was attired in turquoise blue net over taffeta with a head-dress of anemones. She carried violets and primroses and received a silver toast rack from the bridegroom.
Mr. George Pope was best man and the groomsman was Mr. Walter Brook.
