The marriage took place at Swinton Parish. Church last Thursday of Miss Lorna Sides, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Sides, of 92, Brookfield Avenue, Swinton, and Mr. Mark Eric Bedford, second son of Mr. and the late Mrs.E. A. Bedford, of 14, Swan Street, Rotherham. The Rev. H. W. Quarrell officiated, and organist was Mr. B. Chapman.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a Victorian dress of white figured lace over white satin, with satin and silver shoes, and an embroidered veil with a wreath of orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of red carnations.
