Miss Kathleen Mary Oxer, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Oxer, 10, Prince Seet, Swinton, was married on Saturday at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Wath, to Mr. Con Higgins, eldest son of Mrs. and the late Mr. C. Higgins, 8, Violet Villas, Limerick, Ireland.

The bride was given away by her father. She wore a wedding blue two-piece with navy accessories, and carried pink roses with orange blossom.  Bridesmaids were Miss Anna Oxer and Miss Joan Oxer, the former in ice blue with navy accessories, and the latter in floral pink with burgundy accessories.  They carried cream roses and sweet peas.

Mr. Jack Higgins was best man and Master G. W. Oxer, groomsman.  Gifts included a case of cutlery from the bride’s workmates at a factory.
