The wedding was solemnised at St. Margaret’s Church, Swinton, of Miss Audrey Lowe, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lowe, of 20, Bridge Street, Swinton, and Mr. Raymond Hellewell, only son of Mrs. Hellewell and the late Mr. Hellewell, of Doncaster.
The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a pretty white lace dress, over satin, with organdie headdress and lace veil. She carried deep pink roses and was attended by Mrs. Harry Drakeford in a floral dress of blue silk with silk head-dress and carrying pink carnations.
Mr. Harold Ingham was best man and Master Harold Lowe groomsman.
