The marriage took place at Wath Parish Church on Saturday of Miss Cicely Lord, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Lord, 7, Wath Wood, Wath and Mr. Geoffrey Hatfield, 17, Twyford Close, Swinton, The Rev. E. N. Evans, Vicar, officiated.

Given away by her father, the bride wore delphinium blue crepe with navy, accessories and carried cream roses. Her attendant was Mrs. Alderthea Stables
