Wedding – Dawson & Crowther
The wedding took place at St. Margaret’s Church, Swinton, on Saturday, the Rev. C. Norton officiating, of Miss Hilda Dawson, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Dawson, 123 Wortley Avenue, Swinton and Mr. Ennis Crowther, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Crowther, 14 Vernon Terrace, Crosspool, Sheffield.
The bride was given away by her father and wore ivory satin with lace coatee and carried pink carnations. Her jewellery was a gold cross and chain and gold wristlet watch.
She was attended by Misses M. Dawson, I. and E. Crowther, and B. Sayner, the two elder maids in green floral voile and the juniors in lemon frilled frocks and head dresses of leaves.
The bouquets were of coral glow carnations. Mr. A. Dawson was best man and Mr. L. Dawson groomsman.
A reception was held in the Congregational School
