At St. Margaret’s Church, Swinton on Saturday, Miss Louisa Davies, only daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. W. E. Davies, of 11, Prince Street, Swinton, was married to Lance/Sergeant Arthur Farr, R.A., only son of Mr. E. and the late Mrs. Parr, of Queen Street. Swinton.
Wearing a gown of white silk taffeta with veil and coronet of white roses and carrying carnations and heather, the bride was given away by her uncle, Mr. John Drower, and attended by Mrs. Jessie Gill Miss Lily Drower and Miss Elsie Wheeler, in white lace and satin figured dresses and pale blue coronet. They carried yellow jonquils.
Mr. Arthur Frost was best man and the groomsman was Mr. Horace Davies.
