Wearing a gown of ivory satin with a long train and a veil which fell from a beautiful dress of gardenias, the bride carried chrysanthemums and fern.  She was given away by her father. Two of her three bridesmaids, Misses Babs Platt and Elsie Ullerthorne, who wore pink satin and brown velvet floral gowns respectively, are members of the W.A.A.F. Miss Marie Reynolds wore a floral gown of blue satin.  All carried bronze and yellow chrysanthemums.

Mr. G. H. Godley was best man and Mr. H. Briggs, groomsman.  The bride was presented with a silver horse-shoe by her sister Mrs. F. Adey.

The couple left for the honeymoon at Keswick, the bride travelling in blue tailored costume with pink blouse and black accessories and blue Lambswool coat.  The bride has been in the W.A.A.F. for three years.
