The marriage was solemnised at Swinton Parish Church of Mr. Ernest Parker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Inkle, 32, Albert Road, Mexborough and Miss Mable Blaydes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Blaydes, 13, Highfield Road, Swinton.

Wearing a gown of figured satin beaute, the bride was given away by her father, and was attended by Misses Milly Blaydes, Melly Blaydes, Kathleen lnkle and Edna Birch.

The best man was Mr. J. Rhodes and groomsman Mr. H. Blaydes.
