Miss Kathleen Blacker, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Blacker, “Glenholme,” Street. Swinton, was married at the Bethel Chapel, Kilnhurst, on Wednesday, to Signaller Harold Elliott Hepworth, third son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Hepworth, of 1, Snydale Hall, Streethouse, Pontefract.

Mr. H. Tompkins was best man and Messrs. H. Froggatt and P. Bellwood groomsmen.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a two-piece suit of hyacinth blue wool georgette with Burgundy accessories and a spray of pink carnations. She was attended by Miss K. Parton.

The bride has been on the staff of Queen Street Council School for eight years.
