The marriage took place on Saturday at Denaby Parish Church of Miss Dorothy Agnes Ball, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Ball, 2, Cusworth Street, Denaby, and Mr. Frederick James Dudhill son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Dudhill, Manor Road, Swinton.
Given away by her father, the bride wore a gown of ivory satin brocade and a veil held by an orange blossom wreath. She carried orchids and pink carnations.
Attending her were Miss Mary Dudhill in green net over a mauve slip. Miss Margaret West-nage in pink net over a blue slip, Miss Winifred Moisey in a gown of old gold crepe de chine, Miss Muriel Ball in pale green crepe de chine, Miss Kathleen Lathanby in rose pink, and the page, Tony Dalton, in a pale blue suit. The attendants carried pink chrysanthemums and silver horseshoes and received either necklaces or evening bags from the bridegroom.
Mr. Norman Fox was best man and groomsmen were Mr. S. Ball, and Mr. J. Moisey.
