Unlucky Dog.
At Rotherham yesterday a fine of £5 was imposed on Wilfred J. Warman of Mexborough for having driven a motor-van to the common danger on January 27.
Police-constable Hartley saw the defendant driving along the road near the Don Hotel, Swinton, and gave the pace at 30 to 45 miles per hour. He ran over a dog.
Defendant denied the excessive speed.
