Here is Mr Ernest Scott, son of Mr and Mrs G. W. Scott, of Slade Road, Swinton, who, as reported in our last issue, has qualified as a probationer of the Royal Institute of British architects.

Mr Scott is a former pupil of the Fitzwilliam Council School and studied at the Sheffield College of Art, later securing a scholarship tenable at either the Royal College of Art or one of London University schools.

He chose a central college and was admitted to the School of architecture
