Fellow Ratepayers,
It is with particular pride that, at the request of many ratepayers in Park Ward, I offer myself to you, the Electors of my own Ward, as the Independent Candidate at this Election.
I have lived in your midst very many years and have a unique experience and knowledge of your requirements of local affairs.
It is imperative that you should use your Vote and if you want progress combined with efficiency in local administration you will place your X to-morrow (Saturday) on the Ballot Paper thus:—
VICKERS J. B.
I have every confidence in the intelligence of my fellow Ratepayers, and unreservedly place myself in their hands.
I pledge myself, if you return me to the Council, to be your loyal friend, irrespective of party, politics or creed.
Believe me,
Yours very sincerely.
