On Monday, at Swinton, Wath were dismissed for 135 (Heaton 52, Ellis 22, Brooks 30) and Swinton got the runs for the loss of three wickets. Bedford (50), Broadhead (37 and Barnett (34 not out) were in good form, and Bedford hit seven fours and a six.
Swinton’s best bowlers were Ellis (5 for 33), Vickers (3 for 51) and Squires (2 for 38) Brooks took 2 for 50 for Wath.
