Alleged Car Thief’s Costly Thirst
A motor-car thief who went for a drink at Swinton Friday night and left a car in a shed, returned to find two Mexborough constables in possession.
The policemen. Constables Rowling and Forsyth, saw the car Mexborough h and, nothing the strange identification plate and knawing that Fleetwood car was missing, they followed it Swinton. They examined it during the driver’s absence and arrested him when returned.
The man stated to be Alfred Glover (24), motor engineer, of Blackpool, will appear before the Fleetwood magistrates today.
