Sunday Trading.

Swinton Urban Fistrict Council last night received deputation from the representatives of the seven churches and chapels of Swinton and Roman Terrace, asking the co-operation and support the Council in the campaign of the churches against Sunday trading in Swinton.

A resolution giving its moral support and pledging its influence in the event of an application to the West Riding Countv Council for a bylaw prohibiting Sunday trading throughout the area was passed.
