Private Arthur Elliott (York and Lancaster) (right), 45 Station Rd, Swinton, aged 25, single, is wounded and a prisoner of war in Germany.

Before enlistment in August 1915 he was a miner employed at members Main.

He went to France in February 1917.

His brother Lance Corporal Dan Elliott (York and Lancaster) (left), aged 23, and married of 72 Station St, Swinton, has been missing since May 2.

He joined the army in November 1914 went to France in January 1917.
