20, William Street, Swinton, was wounded in the right thigh on June 7 while serving in France.

He had previously been wounded in September 1916.

He is single aged 27 and enlisted in October 1914.

He was formerly employed at Wath Main mine. He is now in hospital in St Leonard’s on Sea and making favourable progress
