Private George Graham Tomblin of Temperance St, Swinton is in hospital in Boulogne with wounds in the right shoulder and left leg, received in recent fighting.

He is 24 years of age and has been serving over two years.

Before enlistment he was a reporter formerly on the staff of the Mexborough and Swinton Times, but more recently with the Rotherham Advertiser.
