Driver Smith, 21 Carlisle St, Swinton, has been wounded and is in hospital in France.

He is 21, and before enlistment in April 1915, was employed at Mrs Stanley Soap Works, Wath upon Dearne.

He is a son of Mr and Mrs Herbert Smith
