Private Wm. Royall of 11, Church. street, Swinton, died on April 25 of wounds received in action in France on April 21_

He was 19 years of age, and had been serving a year.

He twice enlisted when under age, and was dicharged on both occasions.

Before enlistment he was employed at the Kilnhurst Steel Works.

He went to France on Easter Monday.
