Private Rhodes, 6 Cambridge St, Wath Road, Swinton, has been wounded in the right ankle during recent fighting in France, and is now in hospital in South Shields, doing well, He enlisted last  April and had been in France three weeks when be was hit.

Before enlistment he was employed at Wath Main.
