Private W Peplow

with reference to the death in action of private W Peplow (York and Lancaster) briefly reported in our last issue, letters of sympathy have been received by Mrs Peplow, of 90, Wath Road, Swinton, from a sister in charge of the military hospital at which he died.

Private Peplow was 22 years of age, before enlistment was a motorman in the service of the Mexborough and Swinton Tramway Company.
