Swinton – Wounded

Private John Howard Nicklin, 70 Charles Street, Swinton, has been severely injured in the Advance, and is now in hospital in Salisbury.

He is suffering from a compound fracture of the right thigh, three bullet wounds in the left thigh and a dislocated left knee.
