Lance Corporal Mann, 76. Charles at.,, Swinton, is in hospital in France, with shrapnel wounds in the left arm received during the recent advance, and is reported to be progressing favourably.

He is 21 years of age and enlisted three years ago.

He has been in France eleven months, and before enlistment was employed at Manvers Main.
