Sergeant A Holsey
(York & Lancs)

Sergeant Holsey, brother of P.C. Holsey, of Roman Terrace, writes in glowing terms of Daykin’s work in a raid previous to the big push by the York and Lancasters.

Sergeant Holsey received an ankle wound soon after he mounted the parapet. He is now at Newport Hospital.
