Driver William Hebbs, aged 28, married. of 37, White Lee Road, Swinton, joined the Forces a year ago last September, and was called up in September this year. He is now in France.

He was employed by Messrs. Ward and Sons, of Swinton.

A keen cyclist, he was a member of Mexborough Cycling Club.
