Pte. George Hawcroft
9th Lancers, attached Royal Warwicks,

Private Hawcroft, 42, Frederick street, has been missing since Oct. 26 and is now officially reported killed on or about that date.

He had been serving since June, 1915, and saw active service in Ireland during the Easter rising of 1916. He also served in the South African war.

His brother, Pte. Fred Hawcroft of (K.O.Y.L.I.) has been wounded.
