Prisoner

Gnr. Douglas Green has been a prisoner of war in Germany since he was captured at Boulogne in 1940.

He Is the son of Mr. and the late Mrs. G. W. Green, 4, Charles Street, Swinton. With his latest letter home he sends a picture of a group of prisoners in his camp, Stalag 21d.

He says he keeps at and is well treated and has “plenty to occupy his time.” He also mentions having met some lads from Kilnhurst.

Letters and parcels reach him regularly.
