Gunner Percy Foster

Gunner Foster, who formally belong to the Swinton police force and resided at Cliff Field Road, Swinton, was wounded on April 26, and died the same day.

PC Foster joined the colours in June 1917.

Widespread expressions of sympathy to Mrs Foster his heard almost on every lip, and his loss is keenly felt by the Constabulary Force locally.
