Mr F Davies, of Piccadilly, Swinton, has received an intimation that his brother, Private Thomas W Davies (York & Lancs) was wounded on July 5th, in the right arm, with gunshot, and is now in hospital in Huddersfiled.

He has been in the trenches 12 months and has another brother serving in France.
