Birthday in North Africa
Dvr. H Bird, who will be 32 tomorrow (Saturday), has been in the Army for just over 18 months and has spent one year in North Africa.
He is the youngest son of Mrs. H. Bird, 8, King Street, Swinton, and in letters home he says that he receives the “Times” every week and enjoys reading it very much. If the paper does not arrive, he is disappointed.
He is married and his wife lives at Rawmarsh.
