Corporal Arthur Beevors youngest son of Mr. and Mrs Wm. Beevors, 106 Bridge Street, Swinton, is wounded and a prisoner.

He is 20 years of age, and has been serving since October, 1916. He had been in France ten months when he was wounded and captured and had seen some very heavy fighting.

Before enlistment, he was an apprentice with Mr. G. H. Smith, builder and contractor, Mexborough.
