Able Seaman Colin Dunstan, of 6, Talbot Road. Swinton, volunteered in July 1940, and was called up In July, 1941.

He likes the life of a sailor and has made many friends. At present he is somewhere at sea.

Private John Roberts, his cousin, of Albert Street Swinton, who joined the Territorials before the war, served at Dunkirk, and is now in England.
