Able Seaman Burton, 25 Spencer-st., Wath Road, Swinton, is in hospital in France with wounds and shell-shock.

Ho is single, aged 21, and before enlistment in December, 1914, was employed at Wath Main.

He has three brothers serving one in the Navy, another in Italy, and another In France.

He himself served through the Gallipoli campaign,
