A group taken of the wedding at Swinton yesterday of Mr T Flather and Miss M Brearley.

Two well-known Swinton and Mexborough families were united yesterday at the Swinton Parish Church when Miss Margaret Brearley, only daughter of Mr and Mrs JW Brearley, “The Poplars,” Church Street, Swinton, was married to Mr Tom Flather, youngest son of Mr TR Flather, “Arndale,” Cemetery Road, Mexborough and the late Mrs Flather.
