Obscene Language at Swinton
Alice A Round, married woman, Swinton, was charged with having used obscene language and with having assaulted William Schofield on September 15.
PC Lund said he saw defendant in the yard which was using obscene language to a man named Schofield. There was a crowd of people around.
William Schofield said defendant used obscene language to him, and after the police stopped her, she came in it in the mouth the pair of scissors, cutting his lip.
She was fined15 shillings each charge.
