New Stationmaster

H Adams this week commenced duties stationmaster at Swinton L.M.S. station in succession to Mr. Percival. who has been transferred to Peak Forest.

Mr Adams has been in the railway service 23 years, having been stationmaster at East Langton (Leicestershire) and Rainharn (Essex) before coming to Swinton. He has also been goods agent at Rainham.

Mr. Adams is married and will shortly be joined by his wife and child, when they are to take up residence at Station House. During the war Mr. Adams was a Special Constable in the Essex County Force.
