New Organ at Swinton Wesleyan Chapel

Members of Swinton Wesleyan Circuit gathered for the opening of the new organ at Swinton Wesleyan Chapel.

The instrument built at a cost of £800 by Messrs. Brindley and Co., of Sheffield. It comprises two manuals, and is blown by a centrifugal blower, driven by electric motor.

The dedication service was conducted by the Rev. D. Kemp, superintendent minister, assisted the Rev. W. H. Armstrong, of Bradford.

Mrs. G. Baker opened the organ in memory of the church members who had passed away.

After the ceremony recitals were given Mr. F. B. Ratcliffe, organist St. Cuthbert’s Church, Sheffield.
