Miss Fanny Creighton, headmistress of Kilnhurst National Infants School, who has been appointed headmistress of the Swinton National Infants School, in succession to Miss Peat, who is about to retire.

Her sister Miss Kate Creighton, is headmistress of the Swinton Bridge Infants School.
