Mrs. Constance Sanders
The death occurred on Saturday after a brief illness of Mrs. Constance Sanders, wife of Mr Edward T. Sanders, of “Bramaer,” Fitzwilliam Street, Swinton, and only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mace, “Fernella,” Fitzwilliam Street, Swinton. Mrs. Sanders was 42.
She was well respected at Kilnhurst, where she was an active member of the Parish Church, and throughout the district. For seven years she had been a member of the ladies’ Committee of the Montagu Hospital, for which she was an ardent worker.
As a girl she was connected with Swinton Parish Church and became a Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the Church tennis club and of the old Swinton hockey club. For the past three years she had been employed at the Conisbrough branch of the National Provincial Bank, attending her work until a few days ago before her death.
Mrs Sanders leaves a husband and one little girl, to whom many expressions of sympathy have been extended. The funeral took place on Tuesday at Kilnhurst.
