Keen Contest at Wath
In spite of an early batting slump Swinton put up a keen game at Wath on Saturday and were beaten by only two wickets.
A notable feature of an interesting game was a clever work of George Masterson (picture), the Swinton wicket-keeper, who had a hand in the dismissal of four Wath batsmen.
